This policy explains how Diaspora Keys supports issue intake, evidence review, guided resolution, and escalation when a property, service, payment, document, or transaction concern becomes contested.
Diaspora Keys provides dispute-handling support to help users, partners, and service participants raise concerns in a structured way when expectations, deliverables, payments, documentation, or listing representations are challenged. The goal is to improve clarity, preserve evidence, and support fairer issue resolution within the platform workflow.
A dispute may be appropriate where there is a serious disagreement about property accuracy, service completion, payment handling, milestone release, missing documentation, misleading communications, access failures, contractual expectations, or another material issue that cannot be resolved through normal communication alone.
Users should report concerns as early as possible after they become aware of the issue. Prompt reporting helps preserve transaction context, reduce financial exposure, improve evidence quality, and create a clearer record of what happened before positions harden or information is lost.
When opening a dispute, users may be asked to provide relevant order or transaction references, screenshots, receipts, messages, invoices, photos, signed documents, milestone details, delivery records, or a written explanation of the concern. Clear and organized evidence helps the review process move more efficiently.
Once a dispute is submitted, Diaspora Keys may review the reported facts, confirm the affected workflow, identify the relevant parties, and determine whether the matter should be routed through support, trust review, payment investigation, escrow handling, or another operational path. Some disputes may require follow-up questions before a meaningful review can begin.
Where appropriate, the platform or a relevant provider may pause releases, restrict certain actions, or preserve records while an issue is being assessed. These measures are intended to reduce further harm, maintain evidence integrity, and prevent avoidable escalation during active review.
Parties involved in a dispute are expected to communicate honestly, respond within a reasonable time, avoid harassment or threats, and provide requested materials that are genuinely relevant to the issue. A failure to cooperate, or an effort to mislead the process, may affect how the platform manages the case or related account access.
Depending on the issue, a dispute may lead to clarification, corrective action, service remediation, refund review, escrow hold continuation, milestone adjustment, listing removal, account restriction, or referral to a more formal legal or contractual process. The available outcome depends on the facts, the workflow used, and the provider or jurisdiction involved.
Diaspora Keys works to provide structure and fairness in issue handling, but it cannot guarantee that every disputed matter will resolve in a particular party’s favor or that recovery will always be possible. Some matters depend on third-party providers, contractual terms, external legal rights, or facts that remain contested or incomplete.
False, abusive, retaliatory, or knowingly misleading dispute submissions are not permitted. If the platform reasonably believes a dispute is being used in bad faith, it may limit the related case, flag the account for review, or apply other trust and safety controls to protect the integrity of the system.
Information associated with a dispute may be retained for support continuity, trust and safety review, auditability, fraud monitoring, legal compliance, and future reference if the same matter is reopened or escalated. Retention timing may vary depending on the seriousness and operational context of the case.
Diaspora Keys may update this Dispute Resolution Policy from time to time as product capabilities, legal requirements, payment partners, or operational safeguards evolve. If you need help with an active concern, you should use the dispute workflow, Help Center, or Contact Support channels for the most relevant next step.
