This policy explains how users can report a listing that appears inaccurate, misleading, suspicious, incomplete, or otherwise in need of review so Diaspora Keys can assess the concern and take appropriate action.
Diaspora Keys encourages users to report listings that may be inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, duplicated, unauthorized, or suspicious. This helps protect the marketplace, preserve user confidence, and improve the quality of property and partner information available across the platform.
A report may be appropriate where a listing contains false claims, inconsistent pricing, misleading photos, suspicious ownership or availability statements, missing or altered documentation, duplicate publication, impersonation concerns, or other material issues that call the listing’s reliability into question.
Users should provide a clear description of the concern and include any relevant context such as screenshots, message history, pricing inconsistencies, location discrepancies, missing evidence, or prior interactions with the person or organization behind the listing. Specific and factual reports are the most helpful.
If a listing appears suspicious, users should avoid sending money, signing documents, or relying on urgent off-platform instructions until the concern has been reviewed. Preserving written records and staying within platform-supported channels can reduce risk while the matter is assessed.
Once a report is received, Diaspora Keys may evaluate the listing content, supporting materials, account history, trust signals, prior reports, and any evidence submitted by the reporting user or the listing owner. Some reviews may require further clarification before a meaningful decision can be reached.
Where appropriate, the platform may temporarily limit visibility, pause lead routing, preserve evidence, request additional documentation, or place the listing under internal review while the issue is investigated. These steps are intended to reduce potential harm during active assessment.
Depending on the facts, a listing review may result in no change, a request for correction, trust-status changes, reduced visibility, listing removal, account restriction, or referral into broader trust and safety or dispute handling processes. Outcomes depend on the seriousness and credibility of the reported issue.
Users should report listings honestly and in good faith. False, malicious, or retaliatory reporting is not allowed and may itself lead to account review or restrictions. Reports should focus on concrete concerns rather than personal conflict alone.
Listing review helps improve marketplace integrity, but Diaspora Keys cannot guarantee that every concern can be resolved immediately or that every listing issue can be conclusively verified from the available information. Users should still exercise independent judgment and seek verification where appropriate.
Reports, supporting materials, and review actions may be retained for auditability, fraud monitoring, future reference, and continuity if the same listing or account becomes part of a repeated pattern of concern. Follow-up timing may vary based on case complexity and operational volume.
A listing report may also intersect with dispute, fraud, verification, or support processes if the concern affects an active transaction, service commitment, or payment-related issue. In such cases, the matter may be routed through additional review layers to protect the involved parties.
Diaspora Keys may update this Listing Review & Reporting Policy as marketplace controls and operational processes evolve. If you need immediate help with a listing concern, use the available trust, help, or contact support routes for the most relevant assistance.
